Our Love Story
From building cars to building a life together!
We Met
Our story began in the Škoda Trainee Program, as two strangers who found themselves in a new city, starting new jobs. Maks was quick to lend a helping hand for Zuzka to move into her dorm located next door. From there, our friendship grew — we’d talk to each other through open windows, share ice cream breaks during work (and after), and spend lunches laughing together. What started as a simple connection soon turned into something more.

He Proposed
After an unforgettable hot air balloon flight over the breathtaking landscapes of Cappadocia, Maks surprised me by getting down on one knee. In that perfect moment, he asked me to marry him, and I couldn’t say yes fast enough.
Civil Marriage
We officially tied the knot in a simple civil ceremony in Slovakia, surrounded by family. Despite the challenging moments around us, it was a day that marked the beginning of our lifelong journey together. We knew it was just the start, and couldn’t wait to plan a big wedding to celebrate with our loved ones.
